Faith Formation

With over 1,000 students and 140 volunteer teachers, St. Ignatius’ Faith Formation program is an active and vital part of our parish life. Through the Office of Faith Formation, St. Ignatius provides catechesis to the children and youth of our Parish whose regular school curriculum does not include instruction in the Roman Catholic Tradition. Promoting the knowledge of faith, liturgical education, moral formation, social justice, and prayer constitute the fundamental tasks of catechesis at St. Ignatius.

The Office of Faith Formation supports all Parish families by providing formation for reception of Sacraments of Reconciliation, Eucharist and Confirmation to children who have attained catechetical readiness. Classes are available for children in First Grade through Ninth Grade. We also provide a Family Home Ministry program that allows families to work together in the home and gather monthly for social and additional formation activities.
