Sister Parish: St. Alphonsus, Baltimore

Our sister parish, like our own, has a rich history. Most notably, St. Alphonsus counts St. John Neumann and Blessed Francis Xavier Seelos among her Pastors. Referred to as the place where saints have prayed, we are honored to be in a sister relationship with this very beautiful and venerable parish. As her sister parish, we work to support St. Alphonsus through service and donations. Please contact the parish office if you are interested in helping with this effort.

Appalachia Project

Our parish supports the work of two separate sites in West Virginia as they minister to the poor in a very economically depressed area. Food and monetary donations are sent on a regular basis. Watch the bulletin for opportunities to participate.

Care Night Food Ministry

Teams of volunteers prepare and serve dinner to the hungry in Harford County. Contact the parish office for information on how to join a team.

Beans and Bread

Our parish takes a turn each month providing the casseroles for this Fell’s Point soup kitchen. Pans and recipes are available at Mass fourth weekend of the month, and the frozen casseroles are returned the following weekend. Volunteer drivers deliver the casseroles on the first Monday of the month.

BRING YOUR FROZEN CASSEROLE in a plastic grocery bag, handles tied in a knot, to the parish center when you come to Mass the next weekend. Our casseroles are always delivered on the first Monday of each month.

Please call Debbie Czawlytko at the parish office with any questions and/or if you can volunteer to deliver the casseroles to Beans & Bread, 402 S. Bond St., Baltimore (Fell’s Point)
