Through year-round programs, Scouting helps to develop character, citizenship, and personal fitness. St. Ignatius charters both a Scouts BSA Troop and a Cub Scout Pack. Scouting provides fun in the great outdoors, fellowship, and skill training, emphasizing honesty, self-reliance, and respect.
The Scout Oath -- On my honor I will do my best to do my duty to God and my country and to obey the Scout Law; to help other people at all times; to keep myself physically strong, mentally awake, and morally straight.
The Scout Law -- A Scout is Trustworthy, Loyal, Helpful, Friendly, Courteous, Kind, Obedient, Cheerful, Thrifty, Brave, Clean, and Reverent.
Cub Scouting at St. Ignatius is for boys ages 5-10 / grades K-5. Pack meetings are held once monthly on Sundays at the Parish Center. Den meetings (smaller groups) are held more frequently and are organized by each individual Den.
