Faith Formation
Grades  5-8

OUR MINISTRY: P.E.A.K. is comprised of two components: large group gatherings and family home formation. For large group gatherings we meet together in-person to learn about the fundamentals of our Catholic faith. Additional formation is done through family home-study focused on family prayer and service activities.
 

PARENTS' ROLE: Parents are to attend the initial Parents' Meeting, the Advent Family Prayer Gathering, and also participate as volunteers for at least two class gatherings during the year. At home, parents are to lead their family in prayer, service, and learning with the resources provided which focus on Scripture, the lives of the Saints, prayer devotions, and other spiritual writings.
 

TRAINING: One parent from each family will need to complete the Archdiocese VIRTUS (child protection program) training in order to participate at the large group gatherings.
