  • Children's Mass
On the first 1st Sunday of each month at 10:30am Mass, children are invited to sit on the steps of the altar while the priest directs his homily towards them.

Children's Liturgy of the Word (CLOW)
    SUSPENDED BECAUSE OF COVID
On the 2nd, 3rd, & 4th Sundays of each month at 10:30am Mass, children are invited to gather before Mass and go to the Madonna Room for child-specific versions of the readings and homily; children return to the church right after the priest's homily has ended. If you are an adult who would be willing to lead some of the CLOW days, please call the Faith Formation Office at 410-879-0959. No teaching experience necessary!

  • Inclement Weather Policy

    Inclement Weather Policy
(Click HERE to see the current HCPS status)

    Closures
If Harford County Schools are closed due to snow or ice Monday through Friday, there will not be a 7:30am or 9:00am Mass.

    Delays
If Harford County Schools are delayed one or two hours, 7:30am Mass is cancelled and we will have the 9:00am Mass.

    Saturday Mass
The parking lot will likely not be cleared yet if there is snow or ice for Saturday 8:00am Mass.  We ask that, for safety reasons, folks stay home.  Mass will not be celebrated.

    Other Parish Activities
If schools are closed due to snow or ice, ALL parish meetings and classes are cancelled that day or evening.

“What do we do about Adoration
if there is inclement weather on a Sunday?”
Our policy is this:  if there is snow or ice (or the predication of snow or ice) during Adoration time, Adoration will be suspended for that day and evening. This policy is now in effect for the safety of parishioners and the proper removal of snow and ice from the lots.

    ONLINE REGISTRATION FOR 2022-2023
    IS NOW CLOSED

Welcome to the Faith Formation Program at St. Ignatius Parish

With nearly 500 students and many volunteer teachers and aides, St. Ignatius' Faith Formation program is an active and vital part of our parish life. Through the Office of Faith Formation, St. Ignatius provides catechesis to the children and youth of our Parish whose regular school curriculum does not include instruction in the Roman Catholic Tradition.

Faith Formation at St. Ignatius implements the six fundamental tasks of catechesis: Promoting knowledge of the faith, liturgical education and the sacraments, moral formation, teaching to pray, the life of the community, and evangelization - the building and mission of the Church.  The program provides extensive resources for both parents and catechists.

To learn more about our Faith Formation programs for all ages, click on the program boxes below.  When you have decided which programs best fit your family's needs, follow the REGISTER link above to get directed to our online registration site.  All registrations are done online.

Our staff is here to support you!  To reach the Faith Formation Office, call 410-879-0959.
